“This disease is not going to conquer me. I made that decision the first time I heard that I had breast cancer.

“I found out that I had Stage 4 breast cancer in March 2021. It all began when I started losing vision in my left eye. By the time I was diagnosed, the cancer had already metastasised through my body. Since then, I’ve had radiotherapy on my head and shoulders and surgery to remove the tumours on my hips and legs.

“For Unite to Fight Cancer last year, my two sisters walked in my name and raised over $9,000. I’m really looking forward to taking part in Walk to Fight Cancer myself this year, and raising even more to support life-saving cancer research at Peter Mac.”
